Limitless Pixelmon

I have actually reinstalled and installed forge and pixelmon multiple times and yet it says I Do not have it. I even when to the home site and downloaded forge all over again with the link given. I can't play any type of pixelmon , all the servers seem to be outdated and this one is the only one that i believe on and yet this problem still blocks me from playing pixelmon at least once. Please help i 'm not sure why this is happening or how to fix it. And if you don't know how at least tell me how i can download it , it turns into a folder.

Please tell us the process you go through to "install" forge. This may give us insight on your issue.

First make sure you're selecting the right profile in your launcher. Look in the lower left hand corner of your launcher you should have a drop down menu selection. it would be named something like 'forge 1.8' or just 'forge'.

if your forge download is turning into a folder that means your system is detecting it wrong. Try downloading the windows installer.

Finally the pixelmon mod file is a jar/zip folder and you simply must drag it to the mods directory of your minecraft install (should be located here: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods)
