Shadow bosses are shadow themed Pokemon that can attack the player. They only spawn in the nether under special conditions and can spawn in hordes. They have three main attacks right now.

• Melee: The most basic attack, this is the same attack as minecraft's zombies. Depending on the Pokémon's weight, they can also lunge at the player.
• Fireball: Only fire type Pokémon can use this attack.
• Dash: Given to dog like Pokémon they charge an attack that has massive knock-back if you're hit.

If you don't have the resource pack enabled you wont see the Pokémon's shadow skin, but you will still see the purple particles that surround the shadow boss along with the Boss: shadow text above their nameplate.
